Modern History

I have recently been delving into my family history and family tree. The information I have collated however is in a rather non-digestable format.  I stumbled upon My Tree and Me and found these beautiful examples of family trees. Wouldn’t you love to have this on your wall, reminding you of your long and powerful genealogical  lineage!

Deanne Cheuk

Navasana Lookbook Cover

Perth born, New York based designer Deanne Cheuk has got a new website displaying a plentiful array of her work. Warning: The sheer amount of content on this site will make even the biggest workaholics and over-achievers out there feel pretty lazy and unproductive.

Tell me why I do love Mondays

Hello Monday

Hello Monday are a Denmark based design and web boutique agency. They recently received a Webby Award (the ‘Oscars of the internet’) for their site red-issue.com. However while surfing their website I was distracted by their recent branding work for Drive-by Sandwich, a bicycle driven organic sandwich delivery service in Copenhagen. The whole concept and application is fantastically fun and refreshing.

The actual Hello Monday site is worth checking out as well for it’s original functionality and navigation.

Jonathan Yuen

Jonathan YuenToday I re-visited one of my favourite websites. The website of  Jonathan Yuen. It is simply magical!

While I was there I discovered The___Cards.  An innovative concept in greeting cards and they look as much fun as popping bubble wrap!

This has to be one of my favourite websites. It combines two of my favourite things, Japan and great design. No, actually 3 of my favourite things…add food to that list. The site was developed by a Brisbane design studio called Cru Digital. It’s a sophisticated and exquisite experience to navigate this website which not surprisingly was the recipient of numerous web awards including the Horizon Interactive Award (Silver) and Interactive Media Award (Outstanding Achievement).
